Here's a Survival List for Hong Kong summers. If you are thinking of traveling to Hong Kong in the summertime be prepared for some odd weather. There is typhoon season which happens during mid-July and very high humidity for the rest of the summer. Hong Kong can get quite brutal in the Summer here's a checklist of things you should bring with you on the days to come.
In the markets, you can find these electric fans That are battery powered for those hot days where you can't stop sweating.
A very iconic thing to see is all the people in the street using umbrellas to protect themselves from the sun. So grab one and keep your skin from burning. During the typhoon season if you are outdoors you will need this, It will be pouring rain, but you should be inside during a typhoon it can be quite dangerous.
Sunscreen is always a go-to when it comes to summertime, apply some of this to ward against the blazing sun.
Watch what you wear while traveling during this time, jeans can get quite hot when you are moving around. Sheer thin clothes are the way to go during this time of year.
Keep cool with some hats to protect from the sun.
Last but not least water, you need to stay hydrated. You will sweat a lot and need to replenish losing all that water.
